My family came to America in the early 1600’s and my fourth great-grandfather, who fought in the American Revolution, settled in Northern Kentucky around 1790. I grew up in Northern Kentucky and graduated from Boone County High School. I attended Georgetown College in Kentucky where I became a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and Phi Mu Alpha music fraternity. I worked at the campus radio station serving as Station Manager for two years, and tutored in the campus computer lab. I earned my bachelor’s degree with a major in Communication Arts and a minor in Business. I earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Northern Kentucky University and a Rank II teaching certificate. I taught at Boone County High School as a substitute teacher and later as a full time teacher in Business and Technology at Larry A. Ryle High School. I worked in Information Technology with several large companies including Microsoft, Jergens, Nabisco, Toyota, GE Aircraft Engines, Kao Brands, and Cincinnati Art Museum. I have managed a team with responsibilities across multiple locations in North America, Europe, and Australia. I built and managed a 24x7 multi-tiered Service Desk group providing support across multiple clients. I am currently a System Analyst for GreenSky Credit. I have three children, one is in college and the other two attend public school in Boone County.
